Part One - St. Thomas...

I'm back from my trip to St. Thomas and St. John! I had a great time. I came back with a little bit of a head cold...I'm so thankful that I had a 4 day weekend! Here are some pictures from St. Thomas!

This is the book that I'm taking to the beach..for the flights and beach time! I can't wait! A couple of my friends have read this book and recommended it! Also, Francine Rivers is one of my favorite authors (seems like I say that a lot)!

Interesting Book...

I read this book last week! It was a little odd! A different type of writing style but it worked with the subject matter! Another good Christian fiction author...Lisa Samson. This book was a Women of Faith Novel of the Year!

I'm so close to being BEACH BOUND I can hear the beach calling my name....

So...very exciting news on the coupon clipping front! Monday I saved $14 using coupons!

More Bullet Points...

• This past week I did a TV viewing diary for Nielson! It was so much fun! I'm not so sure what they will think about my viewing habits...

• I will be BEACH BOUND very soon! I'm SOOO SOOO excited!

• I've become a champion coupon clipper! Last month I saved a total of $12. I'm doing a better job of keeping up with my savings so it should only get better! Plus I've gotten a pretty good stash of coupons going!

• Last Saturday I watched my first ever T-ball game! I've been to plenty of baseball and softball games but never a T-ball game...it was interesting!

Flooding in Nashville, TN...

I guess the best way to describe these photos is surreal! I've been in these stores, I've walked on these streets and I've eaten in some of these restaurants.

What a weekend?!?! Tornadoes in Arkansas, flooding in Tennessee and the oil spill in the gulf seems to be getting worse.

I've checked all my friends in Tennessee! Everyone is safe and sound, with minimal damage to their homes! They all have stories of people that they know that have lost EVERYTHING!

The Cumberland river crested today. They expect the water to start going down later this week. Then the real damage assessment begins.

Even though I live in Arkansas...I love the Nashville and Franklin areas!

The Bullet Points....

• So I've lost a total of 15 lbs! I lost some before I started going to Curves.

• In less than one month I will be BEACH BOUND!!! Woooohoooo!

• Last week I had an allergic reaction to something in my eye. Not sure what happened BUT nothing a steroid shot didn't cure.

• Also last week I lost the toenail on my right pinkie toe! I don't really know what happened but it's gone! Anyway I'm hoping it grows back. It isn't super noticeable but it bothers me! It makes me think about this girl that I use to work with and she was missing a toe nail, she just painted her skin and went on with her life. I always thought I would just wear closed toe shoes but now I'm thinking I will just paint my skin. :)

• I had an awful migraine this weekend/first part of the week. I think it was from all the nasty weather we had...the change in the pressure.

• I've been reading a lot lately. I can't get enough of Karen Kingsbury. She is a great Christin fiction author. The most recent book I read is: Between Sundays.

• Oh while I'm at it! Another great book; Same Kind Of Different As Me by Ron Hall and Denver Moore. It is a true story and a GREAT book! Thanks Crystal for the book suggestion!

• Work is going great! I really like it!

• I've been cooking a lot at home! Nothing super exciting but cooking.

• My new favorite afternoon snacks are Cuties.

Well I think that about covers it! I'm sure there is more but I got a call from the blog police so I knew I HAD to update! I'm going to try to do better updating the blog!
