My Uncle Doyne has a horse and buggy. He took me, Jessica, Emery and Guice for a ride this afternoon. It was a great day for a buggy ride.

Food Network - Ace Of Cakes...

One of my favorite TV shows is...Ace of Cakes. I love Duff, Mary Alice, Mary Smith and Geoff. Duff owns Charm City Cakes in Baltimore, Maryland. The show is a little like reality TV. Cakes are ordered, baked and delivered.


Some of our staff went to Baltimore a couple of weeks ago. They asked me what to do in Baltimore...I told them to stop by the bakery.

Good Week...

I had to post this picture. On several political blogs the quote is "Huck-a-mania running wild!" Honestly this pictures is a little disturbing to me. I'm a Mike Huckabee fan and a Hulk Hogan fan. However those two people do not go together.

The campaign is having a very good week! A new Iowa poll came out on Wednesday. This poll has Governor Huckabee in 3rd place....which is GREAT!! The poll is from Rasmussen Reports (good source).

Today reports surfaced that Senator Brownback will withdraw from the race for president. The announcement is expected tomorrow in his home state of Kansas. It will be very interesting to see what the coming weeks will bring.

We are just over 70 days from the Iowa Caucuses. The caucuses are the next big test for the campaign. Many members of our "campaign family" will be spending their Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays away from their families. I know this will be difficult for many of them but they are all very excited about being in Iowa still the same.

The Iowa Caucuses will be held Thursday, January 3, 2008.

Just For Fun...

Casey Jones Village...

On my way back from my last trip to Nashville I stopped in Jackson, TN to visit the Casey Jones Village. The best my mom and I could calculate I had been there on a family vacation in the early 90s. I remembered visiting but not much else. I stopped...spent about 15 minutes and saw it all.

I don't want to offend anyone from the central Arkansas area but it reminded me of Pickles Gap Village. Don't get me wrong I remember Pickles Gap back in the day when they had a small zoo. Anyone else remember that? They had monkeys, some sort of farm birds and I don't remember what else. I would assume back in the day that Casey Jones Village was the place to stop.

If you are ever thru Jackson, TN stop by Casey Jones Village..it won't take long, it is right off the interstate. Below are a couple of pictures highlighting my visit.

Birthday Pajamas...

Kennedy and Jude have both celebrated birthday recently. Here are pictures of them opening their birthday presents from me and a picture of them in their pajamas.

The Review Is In...

I know many of you have been waiting. I have read the new Nicholas Sparks book...The Choice. The book came out last week. It is no my favorite Nicholas Sparks book but it is good. It is a typical Sparks book for the most part but there is one thing in particular that I didn't expect. I won't ruin it for those who are planning on reading the book.

I'm ready for the next one to come out. Also wanted to let you know that another one of his books is being made into a movie....Dear John.
