Book...

Most of you know that I love to read. While I'm reading I can tune out anything or anybody (ask my mom), I am completely into the book. When I start a book I usually stay up into the early morning hours to finish the book. I got Redeeming Love for Christmas from Crystal. It was so good and long. I started late one night and I stayed up until 2am...2 nights in a roll to finish the book. It is a Christian novel. I recommend it.

Made Me Laugh...

I was going to post this last night but I was having blog issues. When I was working on the post one of my co-workers was asleep at his desk. He had been in the office 12 hours, hadn't gotten much sleep and was only asleep 10 minutes or so.

TOP 10 THINGS TO SAY IF YOU ARE CAUGHT ASLEEP AT YOUR DESK

1. They told me at the blood bank this might happen.
2. I wasn’t sleeping, I was trying to pick up contact lens without hands.
3. I wasn’t sleeping! I was meditating on the mission statement and envisioning a new paradigm!
4. Amen
5. This is just a 15 minute power-nap like they raved about in the last management course you sent me to.
6. Whew! Guess I left the top off the liquid paper
7. I was doing a highly specific Yoga exercise to relieve work related stress.
8. This is one of the seven habits of highly effective people!
9. Boy, that cold medicine I took last night just won’t wear off!
10. Darn! Why did you interrupt me? I had almost figured out a solution to our biggest problem.

Christmas Day...

My Christmas day started at my Mom and Dad's house. I had breakfast and opened presents with Mom, Dad, Blake and Kristen. I had lunch in Enola with the Hoggard Clan. Finally I went to the Condrays' to see them. Below are some pictures from Enola. I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!

Holiday Shopping...

I'm very excited that I got all my Christmas shopping done last Saturday. It was a mini marathon shopping spree. This year I started out great. I got several gifts very early then I just stopped. I will say I think that the deals are better the weekend before Christmas. So many things were half off. I got a great deal on slippers for the ladies in my office. They all loved the slippers. I have other gifts that folks will open Christmas day that I'm really excited to see their reaction. I love it when you find that "perfect gift".

My Favorite Way To Spend A Saturday...

Well the blog police have called me to update my blog. Most of you now that I enjoy sleeping. I like to call it one of my hobbies. My favorite way to spend a Saturday...sleep until I wake up...meaning no alarm clock. Then cook breakfast, watch TV, clean house, do laundry and maybe an afternoon nap. The most important part of the day is to spend it in my pajamas. Spending Saturdays like this are few and far between but I enjoy one every chance I get.
