Ahhhh....The Lake....

Okay...like it, love it, hate it, don't understand it, grossed out by it, confused by it, angered by it and/or weirded out by it. You have to admit it is intriguing.....Sister Wives.

I've seen all 8 episodes! I'm watching a "Sister Wives Special" right now. I really don't know how to explain it...it is super weird but I'm super intrigued by it! The big thing for me I want to know is what makes them "tick" so to speak!

Intriguing for sure...I walk this fine line of different feelings about the show! What I do know is I watch it!

Working Out...

Let me start by saying...I DO NOT like to sweat. I'm pretty sure I'm wired genetically not to like it...I'm almost positive that I've been that way since birth! When I was younger and people asked me if I played basketball because I'm tall. I just laughed and said, "No, I'm more of a fan"! :)

Well recently I have found myself working out on a regular bases and LOVING it! I'm evening sweating! I also get SUPER cranky when I miss a workout (ask my mom)!

I'm also working out early in the morning...BEFORE I go to work! Anyone that knows me knows that I am not a morning person..AT ALL...not even a little bit! I'm also enjoying the early morning workouts! I know what you're thinking, "Erica, is that you?"! Yep I know craziness!

I have some fitness goals that I'm working on right now! I'm not quite ready to reveal them to the masses! However, hopefully soon I'll be comfortable with revealing them! I don't want to say I'm going to do something and then back out! :)! So I want to make sure that I'm super committed first!

The State Fair & Easton Corbin...

Thursday night I went with Jodi & Amanda to see Easton Corbin at the Arkansas State Fair. I had a ball! Easton Corbin did a great job!

NEW HAIR....

I got a new hair cut...well I guess it's not so new! I have a new stylist! She is great! SUPER SWEET! What's even better I love my hair! YAY!

Good News...

Well the migraines aren't gone but I made it through a very critical period of time migraine free! I'm very very excited! I'm so thankfully that the medicine seems to be working.

In March I'm going to see Nicholas Sparks speak at UCA. I'm going with my FAVORITE sister-in-law!

I started an early morning Bible study with a wonderful group of ladies. I'm enjoying it very much...I'm just sad I waited so long to join them!

Work is still going great!

Well better late than never...I guess. The last weekend in June I went with a group of ladies from Bigelow Baptist Church to St. Louis for Living Proof Live! Wish I had taken my camera..these were taken with my blackberry so they aren't great!

My Dad & Southen Living...

So anyone that knows my dad is probably asking themselves, "What in the world does he have to do with Southern Living?"

Well here goes...when I get my Southern Living in the mail the very first thing I do is turn to the very last page and read the one page story/article.

This month's story/article was about family vacations and motels. If you have had the opportunity to hear Blake and I talk about our family vacations...there are a couple of stories you are going to hear...

1. About the time we didn't stop at Graceland (I'm not bitter...I've gotten over it..well I will eventually)
2. How my dad has this AMAZING ability to find the most random motels. Sometimes a little scary but always random.

There are a few motels that stick out but there is this one in Kentucky that was the most random. Blake and I thought he was going to drown in the pool it wasn't marked correctly. There were a few other issues....when Blake and I start talking about it we come up with a dozen other problems and we are laughing the whole time! Anyway our family vacation memories wouldn't be what they are without the random motels!

So thanks Dad for all the great memories! Right Blake? :)

BUSY Week...

I started working out again on Monday. It has been a month since I have worked out BUT I lost 3 more lbs. I'm sure the 5 day migraine helped (!?!?!) that situation.

I'm so very excited! Thursday night (tonight) I'm having dinner with TWO of my very good friends from high school! We don't get to get see each other very often! Last year was the first time we had seen each other in years! I'm looking forward to seeing their faces and communicating in person instead of over email and facebook.

EARLY EARLY Friday morning I'm leaving with a great group of ladies from Bigelow Baptist Church to go to St. Louis! We are going to the Beth Moore Conference on Friday night and Saturday! It has been 5 years since I'm seen Beth Moore live! I'm hoping & praying and hoping & praying that she will talk about her newest book if only for a little bit!

migraines, MiGrAiNeS, MIGRAINES...

This week has been a good week as far as migraines are concerned! However last week and the week before I had some SERIOUS issues!

I had a stay in bed FIVE day migraine! It is definitely in my top five of worst migraines EVER!

Thankfully the doctor called me in some new meds and I'm hoping this will help! It is some really good pain medicine!

I'm not sure what makes my head hurt so but I'm so glad it has left me!

Well Well Well...

I didn't read at all while I was on my little vacation! I slept ALL or MOST of the plane rides. While I was on the beach...I just laid in a chair and listened to the waves or talked!

I did watch the movie Dear John....while I wasn't asleep during one of the plane rides! If you don't know Dear John is a movie based on a Nicholas Sparks book! Well it wasn't as good as the book.....surprise SURPRISE!! It was a good movie!
