Well I guess I will start with I'm in Lubbock, TX. I am traveling with Governor Huckabee in Texas the next few days. Today I have been in Texarkana (the Texas side), Waco and Amarillo. We are overnighting in Lubbock for an event tomorrow morning.
I'm tired! The folks on the road work hard. Not to say that the folks holding down the fort in Little Rock don't.
I was trying to decide my favorite moment of today...I have two. One I met Chuck Norris! It was AWESOME! He is so nice. Two my very good friend, Jordan, got to introduce Governor Huckabee in Waco, TX. Jordan has taken a year off from Baylor to work on the campaign. So since he was in his "home town" he got to introduce the Governor. He did a great job. It was one of those things I'm so glad I didn't miss.
Hopefully, I will have some pictures to post tomorrow.

Sleet, Snow or Hail?...
While I was home Thursday night it started raining...HARD. Then all of the sudden I heard ice hitting the window. It was hailing. I have a little balcony/porch like area and it was hitting the window that is covered by the roof. The hail accumulated. I had never seen so much. So I had to go out and take pictures. Some of it was still there this morning when I left for work.

6 Days...
I've been home the last six days except for one trip to the doctor on Thursday. I had the flu and then a secondary infection. I haven't driven anywhere. My mom took me to the doctor.
So here's what I've done while I've been home..
- Slept
- Read a couple of magazines (Good Housekeeping and Domino)
- Watched TV
- Watched movies
I watched: The Wedding Planner (twice), Footloose, 2 Hallmark Hall of Fame Movies and Sixteen Candles (2 twice).
I'm feeling much better and I'm ready to go back to work. A person can watch only so much TV.

Sickness...
As I mentioned in my previous campaign update post. The majority of the campaign staff has been sick. I started getting sick on Thursday. Yesterday I got a prescription of Tamaflu and steriods. I'm feeling much better this afternoon.
Almost everyone is feeling better. A few folks are still coughing and not exactly 100%.
