25 Random Things...

1. This year was the first year that I ever did my taxes myself...It was so easy...if I get arrested for tax fraud...it wasn't as easy as I thought!

2. I love to mail cards to people.

3. Going along with #2 I love to get mail. At my Granny and Pa-Pa's house it was a big deal to get to go get the mail....

4. Some of my favorite things are the quilts my Granny B has made me over the years. I have quite a collection.

5. Birds and squirrels make me nervous...I know.

6. I love the website Pop Sugar. That's where I get my daily dose of celebrity gossip.

7. I can't stand for someone to touch things on my desk at work. If someone touch something (i.e. stapler, pen) I have to "adjust" the item after they touch it to make sure it is just right...again I know.

8. I was a facebook hold out for along time. I love it...I can't believe I waited so long.

9. I can remember all my teachers K-12. Even the years with multiple teachers. Including what they taught and what period of the day I had that subject.

10. Until April of 2008 I never lived more than 60 miles from where I grew up.

11. Since April I live about 400 miles from my parents' house.

12. I love office supplies..pens, paperclips, notebooks, post-it notes.

13. I have a pair of double-first cousins.

14. I met President Bush and President Clinton in the same 24 hour period.

15. My favorite vacation ever was Hawaii...I would go back today if I could.

16. I've always wanted a tattoo...I know exactly what I would get...I just need someone to go with me.

17. I'm a big list maker. I love to cross things off a list. If I do something and it isn't on the list I will write it down JUST so I can mark it off...yep I know.

18. I'm not a animal person...at all...

19. This year my big resolution was to make a budget and stick to it. So far so good but it has only been 30 days. It's a start.

20. Chick-fil-A is my favorite "fast food". I ate there three times this week...there is a misc. category on the budget :)

21. I have severe migraines. I've yet to find a medicine that helps and allows me to function. I'm going to a new doctor next week.

22. I've always wanted to take piano lessons.

23. I love massages and pedicures but I've never had a manicure.

24. I love to sleep. It is one of my "favorite hobbies" as Paige calls it. Sunday afternoon naps are the best.

25. One of my favorite things to do it laundry. It is a finished product...yep I know.

Weekly Recap...

I really do not have a ton to report this week.

• Franklin, TN has been COOOLLLLDDDD this week! Today is the first day there hasn't been snowing or sleeting when I left for work. Most days it wasn't significant but there were still precipitation.
• I had a terrible headache two days this week. I went to bed at 8pm one night and 7pm the next trying to get rid of it. It wasn't quite a migraine but it sure hurt.
• Working is still going good...not much to report there. We are busy which is good.
• I went to the dentist. It is the first time I had been in almost two years. No cavities. The coolest thing...they have this little camera that they put in your mouth to take pictures. Then they show them to you on the TV screen. Pretty Cool.
• While I was the dentist I told the story about how I had a bicycle wreck in the 6th grade and hit a tree with my face (thanks Blake!). Half of one of my front teeth is fake...hence the reason I had to tell the story. I probably didn't have to tell the WHOLE story...but you know.

A Prayer for the Ephesians...

I found Ephesians 3:20 on another blog...so I looked it up! I posted the whole passage. Just wanted to share.

For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom his whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! I'm SO Ready For Spring...

It has been so cold here! It was 59 degrees on Friday, a beautiful day, and today it is 38. Oh I'm so ready for spring. I had big plans for today thinking it was going to be a bright sun shiny day.

March 20th is the first official day of Spring. I'm hoping that it starts warming up much sooner than that!

It is hard to believe in April I will have been in Tennessee for one year. I'm still loving it and I'm looking for to spring in Tennessee!

Wheel Of Fortune...

I love it. A few things....

1. I would love just once to spin that wheel and yell "big money, big money".

2. I would be so nervous on the show...I wouldn't even remember my name much less the letters of the alphabet. I would be one of those sad people that leave with the $1,000 that they give you just because you made it on the show.

3. I yell at the people on the show LIKE THEY CAN HEAR ME!!! As if I would be doing any better if I was in there on the show...I would just babble.

4. I wonder why Pat Sajak and Vanna White never seem to age...What's up with that?!?!?

16 degrees and SNOWING...

I walked out of my apartment this morning and it was snowing. All week at work we have been talking about how cold it is suppose to be over the next two days....the snow was a surprise. We are going to be in single digits for lows tonight and tomorrow night.

200th Post...

This is a milestone...I think. This is my 200th post on my blog...what to say? what to say?

I guess I can recap the week. It wasn't a very exciting week. It started with a visit to the doctor on Monday. I have/had bronchitis...YUCK. I didn't feel bad except I had trouble sleeping because of coughing. I've tried several different cough suppressants this week to find something that will work. I didn't find any one thing that worked it was a combination of a couple of different things that worked. Finally on Wednesday night I got a full night of uninterrupted sleep.

I'm feeling much better now...I still have a nasty cough. It has been a pretty uneventful week at work. It was hard to work a full week after having two short weeks due to the holidays.
